Product information "iFluor(R) 700 acid"
iFluor(R) 700 is a bright, near-infrared fluorescent dye with spectral properties similar to Alexa Fluor(TM) 700. It has excitation and emission maxima at 690 nm and 713 nm, respectively, and is optimally excited by standard 633 nm or 640 nm laser lines. The dye provides high fluorescence intensity, excellent photostability, and minimal spectral overlap, making it ideal for multicolor applications such as flow cytometry, fluorescence microscopy, and in vivo imaging. Its high extinction coefficient and efficient quantum yield ensure reliable performance even under demanding conditions. iFluor(R) 700 acid is the non-reactive form of the dye and serves as a reference standard or control in experiments using iFluor(R) 700 conjugates. It is compatible with confocal microscopy, immunocytochemistry (ICC), high-content screening (HCS), live-cell imaging, and flow cytometry. It can also be chemically modified to generate reactive forms like NHS or STP esters and conjugated to primary amines, hydrazines, or hydroxylamines using water-soluble carbodiimides such as EDAC, allowing efficient labeling of proteins, antibodies, peptides, and amine-modified oligonucleotides.
