Cyanine 5.5 NHS ester is a reactive dye designed for labeling amino groups in peptides, proteins, and oligonucleotides, functioning as an analog of Cy5.5(R) NHS ester. Cy5.5 emits in the far-red to near-infrared range, making it an excellent choice for fluorescence measurements where reducing background fluorescence is essential. It is also highly suitable for in vivo near-infrared (NIR) imaging applications. This reagent serves as a reliable replacement for NHS esters of Cy5.5(R) and DyLight 680.
