Product information "AATOM(TM) 647N maleimide"
Correction Factor (260 nm): 0.06 Correction Factor (280 nm): 0.05 Extinction coefficient (cm^-1 M^-1): 150000 Excitation (nm): 318 Emission (nm): 663 Quantum yield: 0.65 (Water). Rhodamine-based AATOM(TM) 647N is a red fluorescent label sharing spectral properties similar to Cy5. It exhibits strong absorption, a high fluorescence quantum yield, and exceptional thermal and photostability. Notably, its absorption and fluorescence remain unaffected by pH variations from 2 to 11. Unlike cyanine dyes, AATOM(TM) 647N demonstrates outstanding stability in the presence of atmospheric ozone, making it particularly valuable for microarray applications. AATOM(TM) 647N is highly suitable for a range of scientific applications, including single-molecule detection, high-resolution microscopy techniques like SIM and STED, as well as flow cytometry (FACS) and fluorescence in-situ hybridization (FISH). AATOM(TM) 647N maleimide is used for labeling thiol-containing molecules such as proteins, antibodies, ligands, and oligonucleotide thiophosphates. Solvent: DMSO.
