Product information "ATTO 647 maleimide"
Correction Factor (260 nm): 0.08 Correction Factor (280 nm): 0.04 Extinction coefficient (cm^-1 M^-1): 120000 Excitation (nm): 646 Emission (nm): 666 Quantum yield: 0.20. ATTO 647 is a rhodamine-based fluorescent label offering spectral properties similar to Cy5. With its high molecular absorption, quantum yield, and adequate Stoke's shift (Ex/Em = 646/667 nm), ATTO 647 is well-suited for various life science applications. Its high photostability makes it ideal for labeling biomolecules and for single-molecule detection, high-resolution microscopy techniques like SIM and STED, flow cytometry (FACS), and fluorescence in-situ hybridization (FISH). Under physiological pH conditions and in buffers up to pH 8.5, ATTO 647 is very stable and demonstrates excellent solubility in polar solvents such as DMF, DMSO, or acetonitrile. ATTO 647 maleimide is used for labeling thiol-containing molecules, including proteins, antibodies, ligands, and oligonucleotide thiophosphates. Solvent: DMSO.
