Product information "AATOM(TM) 647N NHS ester"
AATOM(TM) 647N is a rhodamine-based fluorescent label for the red spectral region, which has similar spectral properties to Cy5. It has strong absorption, high fluorescence quantum yield, high thermal and photostability, and its absorption and fluorescence are independent of pH from 2 to 11. Unlike cyanine dyes, AATOM(TM)647N is exceptionally high stable towards atmospheric ozone, making it useful for microarray applications. AATOM(TM) 647N is highly suitable for single-molecule detection applications and high-resolution microscopy such as SIM, STED etc. The dye may be also used in flow cytometry (FACS), fluorescence in-situ hybridization (FISH). AATOM(TM) 647N NHS ester is used for labeling amino-containing molecules such as proteins, peptides and amino-modified oligonucleotides. Solvent: DMSO. Spectral properties: Excitation (nm): 646. Emission (nm): 664. Quantum yield: 0.65 (Water).
