5-HEX NHS ester

5-HEX NHS ester is a pink fluorescent dye designed to produce stable fluorescent signals in bioimaging applications. This dye serves as an effective replacement for HEX, JOE, VIC, CAL, and Fluor Orange 560. The NHS ester functionality allows it to readily react with amino groups, such as the epsilon-amino group of lysine in proteins or the amine terminus of modified nucleotides, forming stable amide bonds between the dye and biomolecules.
