Vecuronium (bromide)

Vecuronium is a non-depolarizing muscle relaxant derived from the aminosteroid pancuronium (Cay-23778) and used adjunctively to general anesthesia. It competitively blocks cholinergic receptors at the motor end plate of the neuromuscular junction, inducing temporary paralysis.
