Description: NSC 48160, a chemical compound, exhibits inhibitory effects on pancreatic cancer cell proliferation, with half-maximal inhibitory concentrations (IC50s) of 84.3 µM for CPFAC-1 and 94.5 µM for BxPC-3. It also promotes apoptosis in pancreatic cancer cells. Additionally, NSC 48160 has been shown to ameliorate metabolic syndromes, including non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), obesity, and lipid metabolism disorders [1] [2]. Target: Apoptosis
