L-Aspartic Acid beta-(7-amido-4-methylcoumarin) (trifluoroacetate salt)

A fluorescent probe for the detection of L-asparaginase activity, ex/em = 360/400-405 nm, respectively, upon hydrolysis by L-asparaginase, 7-amido-4-methylcoumarin is released, displaying an increase in fluorescent signal with an emission maximum of 440-450 nm upon excitation at 360 nm, has been used to detect and quantify L-asparaginase activity in live cells and in serum.
