Product information "Isoxanthohumol"

Isoxanthohumol, IX, is the isomeric flavonone derivative of the anti-tumor agent xanthohumol from hops. IX, similar to xanthohumol, induces apoptosis although at a lesser potency than the latter. IX undergoes demethylation in vitro and in the human intestine to form 8-prenylnaringenin, a potent phytoestrogen.
