Isobergapten

Isobergapten is a furanocoumarin that has been found in H. persicum and has diverse biological activities. It inhibits alpha-glucosidase and scavenges DPPH (Cay-14805) radicals in cell-free assays (IC50s = 0.385 and 28.6 µM, respectively). Isobergapten is active against S. aureus, B. cereus, P. aeruginosa, and S. entritidis (MICs = 125 µg/ml for all).
