Hydroxocobalamin

Hydroxocobalamin is a biologically active form of vitamin B12 (Cay-18425). It increases the number of red blood cells 2.5-fold over control in a mouse model of anemia when administered at a dose of 2 µg per day for 4 days. Hydroxocobalamin is also efficacious in animal models of cyanide poisoning.
