ELOVL1-22

ELOVL1-22 is an inhibitor of ELOVL fatty acid elongase 1 (ELOVL1). It reduces lysohexacosanoylphosphatidylcholine (LPC(C26:0)) synthesis in HEK293 cells (IC50 = 400 pM), a marker of ELOVL1 inhibition, and is selective for ELOVL1 over ELOVL4, -6, and -7 (IC50s = >50 µM for all), as well as a panel of 34 receptors at 10 µM.
