Carbazomycin D is a bacterial metabolite that has been found in Streptomyces and has diverse biological activities. It is active against the fungi T. asteroides and T. mentagrophytes (MIC = 100 µg/ml for both) and the bacterium M. tuberculosis (IC50 = 25 µg/ml).
