Brazilin

Description: 1. Brazilin (Braziletto) exhibits anti-hepatotoxic, antiplatelet effects. 2. Brazilin has cancer preventive effect, may inhibit T24 cell growth and trigger cell death through a c-Fos-mediated and tumor cell specific signaling pathway. 3. Brazilin has anti-inflammatory property, can suppress mastitis and high glucose-induced vascular inflammatory process related with the inhibition of oxidative stress, CAMs expression, and NF-kappaB activation in HUVEC, may be useful to treat chronic inflammatory disorders including rheumatoid arthritis.
