Antimycin A Complex

Antimycin A complex is a bacterial metabolite complex that has been found in Streptomyces and is composed of the major components antimycin A1 (Cay-19433), -A2 (Cay-21997), -A3 (Cay-21998), and -A4 (Cay-21999), as well as minor components, including antimycin A5 and -A6, among others. It induces the synthesis of carotenoids in M. marinum when used at concentrations ranging from 3.3 to 160 µM.
