White powder. Soluble in methanol. Fluorogenic amine. Building block and reagent for synthesis of fluorescent probes. Used for the preparation of fluorogenic substrates, chemosensors and probes, in which NBD-amine is the high fluoresence component after release. Shows constant fluorescence intensity from pH2-9. Spectral data: Ex=472nm, Em=555nm (TRIS buffer, pH7.8)
