3'-Hydroxygenkwanin

3'-Hydroxygenkwanin is a flavonoid that has been found in B. balsamifera and has antioxidant and anticancer activities. It scavenges superoxide anions in a cell-free assay when used at a concentration of 100 µM. 3'-Hydroxygenkwanin (25 and 50 µM) decreases the levels of EGFR and phosphorylated EGFR in, and reduces viability of, PC-9 and H1975 non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) cells.
