Enniatin complex

Enniatins are a complex of depsipeptides produced by several Fusarium species. Typically, the complex contains 4 major components: A, A1, B and B1 together with minor amounts of enniatin C, D, E and F. The enniatins have been shown to act as ionophores. Recently, their effects on acyl-CoA cholesterol transferase, as nematocides and the selectivity of their antitumor action have received more focus. , , Source: Fusarium sp. For long-term storage store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
