Product information "STAT4 eGFP Reporter Lentivirus (GAS-IRF-1)"
STAT4 eGFP Reporter Lentivirus (GAS-IRF-1) are replication incompetent, HIV-based, VSV-G pseudotyped lentiviral particles that are ready to transduce most mammalian cells, including primary and non-dividing cells. These viruses contain an enhanced GFP (green fluorescent protein) reporter driven by multiple copies of interferon-gamma-activated sequence of the interferon regulatory factor 1 promoter (GAS of IRF1) located upstream of the minimal TATA promoter. Following stimulation of cells with IL-12 (interleukin 12), STAT4 was found to bind to this GAS element of IRF-1. The lentiviruses also contain a puromycin selection marker (Figure 1). To study the IL-12 induced STAT4 signaling pathway, STAT4 and IL-12 receptor may also need to be introduced, depending on the target cells. Figure 1. Schematic of the lenti-vector used to generate the STAT4 eGFP Reporter Lentivirus (GAS-IRF-1).
