B2M HLA-G1 Lentivirus

B2M HLA-G1 Lentivirus are replication incompetent, HIV-based, VSV-G pseudotyped lentiviral particles ready to transduce most mammalian cells, including primary and non-dividing cells. These viruses result in the expression of B2M (beta-2 microglobulin) HLA (human leukocyte antigen)-G1 driven by an EF1a promoter. Human Leukocyte Antigen-G (HLA-G) is a non-classical MHC-I (major histocompatibility complex) heavy chain receptor, composed of HLA-G and beta2-microglobulin (B2M). It has several isoforms, some of which are secreted while others are membrane bound. It is involved in fetal-maternal tolerance. In addition, it can serve as a marker for diabetic retinopathy and participate in immune evasion in cancer. The understanding of the association between HLA alleles and diseases will allow a refinement of therapeutic strategies.
