Product information "Acetone Powder, Mouse Liver HisTek(TM)"
Tissue powders are produced by saline wash of ruptured cells obtained from tissue and multiple precipitations in acetone, removing lipids. Applications: Suitable for use as a specific adsorbent to remove unwanted reactivities or as a source material. It is relatively stable, and is used in the preparation of some enzymes. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Optiimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with distilled water or sterile buffer. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
