Product information "Mouse KIBRA (Kidney And Brain Protein) ELISA (Small Sample Volume)"
The test principle applied in this kit is Sandwich enzyme immunoassay. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Mouse KIBRA. Standards or samples are added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells then with a biotin-conjugated antibody specific to Mouse KIBRA. Next, Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. After TMB substrate solution is added, only those wells that contain Mouse KIBRA, biotin-conjugated antibody and enzyme-conjugated Avidin will exhibit a change in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450nm ± 10nm. The concentration of Mouse KIBRA in the samples is then determined by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve. Protein Function: Regulator of the Hippo signaling pathway, also known as the Salvador-Warts-Hippo (SWH) pathway. Enhances phosphorylation of LATS1 and YAP1 and negatively regulates cell proliferation and organ growth due to a suppression of the transcriptional activity of YAP1, the major effector of the Hippo pathway. Along with NF2 can synergistically induce the phosphorylation of LATS1 and LATS2 and function in the regulation of Hippo signaling pathway. Acts as a transcriptional coactivator of ESR1 which plays an essential role in DYNLL1-mediated ESR1 transactivation. Modulates directional migration of podocytes. May be associated with memory performance (By similarity). Regulates collagen-stimulated activation of the ERK/MAPK cascade (PubMed:18190796). Plays an important role in regulating AMPA-selective glutamate receptors (AMPARs) trafficking (PubMed:21943600, PubMed:31730661) [The Uniprot Consortium]
