Mouse INa (Internexin Neuronal Intermediate Filament Protein Alpha) Microsample ELISA Kit
Product information "Mouse INa (Internexin Neuronal Intermediate Filament Protein Alpha) Microsample ELISA Kit"
The test principle applied in this kit is Sandwich enzyme immunoassay. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Mouse INa. Standards or samples are added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells then with a biotin-conjugated antibody specific to Mouse INa. Next, Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. After TMB substrate solution is added, only those wells that contain Mouse INa, biotin-conjugated antibody and enzyme-conjugated Avidin will exhibit a change in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450nm ± 10nm. The concentration of Mouse INa in the samples is then determined by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.Detection Range: 0.16-10 ng/mL. Sensitivity: 0.056 ng/mL. Assay Type: Sandwich. Standard: 10 ng/mL. Sample Type: sTissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. Assay duration: 3.5h. Protein Function: Class-IV neuronal intermediate filament that is able to self-assemble. It is involved in the morphogenesis of neurons. It may form an independent structural network without the involvement of other neurofilaments or it may cooperate with NEFL to form the filamentous backbone to which NEFM and NEFH attach to form the cross-bridges (By similarity). May also cooperate with the neuronal intermediate filament protein PRPH to form filamentous networks (PubMed:22723690) [The Uniprot Consortium]
Keywords:
Ina, Alpha-internexin, 66 kDa neurofilament protein
