The Mouse CYB5A (Cytochrome b5) ELISA Kit accurately measures natural Mouse CYB5A (Cytochrome b5) levels quantified versus standard curves obtained and is based on antibodies raised against a recombinant Mouse CYB5A (Cytochrome b5) peptide. Protein function: Cytochrome b5 is a membrane-bound hemoprotein functioning as an electron carrier for several membrane-bound oxygenases. It is also involved in several steps of the sterol biosynthesis pathway, particularly in the C-5 double bond introduction during the C-5 desaturation. [The UniProt Consortium]
