The kit is a Sandwich enzyme immunoassay for in vitro quantitative measurement of BLC in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. Detection Range: 15.63--1000pg/mL. Sensitivity: 9.38pg/mL. Protein function: Strongly chemotactic for B-lymphocytes, weakly for spleen monocytes and macrophages but no chemotactic activity for granulocytes. Binds to BLR1/CXCR5. May play a role in directing the migration of B-lymphocytes to follicles in secondary lymphoid organs. [The UniProt Consortium]
