The kit is a Sandwich enzyme immunoassay for in vitro quantitative measurement of CTSK in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. Detection Range: 0.16--10ng/mL. Sensitivity: 0.1ng/mL. Protein function: Closely involved in osteoclastic bone resorption and may participate partially in the disorder of bone remodeling. Displays potent endoprotease activity against fibrinogen at acid pH. May play an important role in extracellular matrix degradation. [The UniProt Consortium]
