Product information "Human CCR5 (Chemokine C-C-Motif Receptor 5) Microsample ELISA Kit"
The test principle applied in this kit is Sandwich enzyme immunoassay. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Human CCR5. Standards or samples are added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells then with a biotin-conjugated antibody specific to Human CCR5. Next, Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. After TMB substrate solution is added, only those wells that contain Human CCR5, biotin-conjugated antibody and enzyme-conjugated Avidin will exhibit a change in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450nm ± 10nm. The concentration of Human CCR5 in the samples is then determined by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.Detection Range: 0.32-20 ng/mL. Sensitivity: 0.13 ng/mL. Assay Type: Sandwich. Standard: 20 ng/mL. Sample Type: stissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. Assay duration: 3.5h. Protein Function: Receptor for a number of inflammatory CC-chemokines including CCL3/MIP-1-alpha, CCL4/MIP-1-beta and RANTES and subsequently transduces a signal by increasing the intracellular calcium ion level. May play a role in the control of granulocytic lineage proliferation or differentiation. Participates in T-lymphocyte migration to the infection site by acting as a chemotactic receptor (PubMed:30713770) , (Microbial infection) Acts as a coreceptor (CD4 being the primary receptor) of human immunodeficiency virus-1/HIV-1 [The Uniprot Consortium]
