The kit is a Sandwich enzyme immunoassay for in vitro quantitative measurement of alpha2-AP in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. Detection Range: 12.5--800ng/mL. Sensitivity: 7.5ng/mL. Protein function: Serine protease inhibitor. The major targets of this inhibitor are plasmin and trypsin, but it also inactivates matriptase-3/TMPRSS7 and chymotrypsin. [The UniProt Consortium]
