Chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 27 (CCL27) is a small cytokine belonging to the CC chemokine family, it is also known under the names IL-11 R-alpha-locus chemokine (ILC), Skinkine, ESkine and Cutaneous T-cell-attracting chemokine (CTACK). The human gene is mapped to 9p13.3. CCL27 is associated with homing of memory T lymphocytes to the skin, and plays a role in T cell- mediatedinflammation of the skin. And CCL27 is expressed in numerous tissues, including gonads, thymus, placenta and skin. It elicits its chemotacticeffects by binding to the chemokine receptor CCR10. Sensitivity: <12pg/ml, Range: 62.5pg/ml-4000pg/ml, Specificity: Recognizes natural and recombinant Mouse CCL27/CTACK. There is no detectable cross-reactivity with other relevant proteins. Test Principle: This Mouse CCL27/CTACK BioAssay(TM) ELISA Kit was based on standard sandwich enzyme-linked immune- sorbent assay technology. A specific for CCL27/CTACK has been precoated onto 96-well plates. Standards(Expression system for standard: E.coli, Immunogen sequence: L26-N120) and test samples are added to the wells, a biotinylated detection specific for CCL27/CTACK is added subsequently and then followed by washing with PBS or TBS buffer. Avidin-Biotin-Peroxidase Complex was added and unbound conjugates were washed away with PBS or TBS buffer. HRP substrate TMB was used to visualize HRP enzymatic reaction. TMB was catalyzed by HRP to produce a blue color product that changed into yellow after adding acidic stop solution. The density of yellow is proportional to the Mouse CCL27/CTACK amount of sample captured in plate.
