Product information "Anti-Human TXLNA Antibody Pair"
Product Description: Taxilin alpha (TXLNA), also known as interleukin-14 (IL-14) or high molecular weight B-cell growth factor (HMW-BCGF), is a protein encoded by the TXLNA gene in humans. It is primarily produced by T cells and certain malignant B cells and plays a crucial role in controlling the growth and proliferation of both normal and cancerous B cells. TXLNA induces B-cell proliferation, inhibits antibody secretion, and expands selected B-cell subgroups. In terms of disease association, increased alpha-taxilin protein expression is linked to the metastatic and invasive potential of renal cell cancer and may be involved in the cell proliferation of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Additionally, TXLNA is implicated in intracellular vesicle traffic and potentially in calcium-dependent exocytosis in neuroendocrine cells. Protein Function: May be involved in intracellular vesicle traffic and potentially in calcium-dependent exocytosis in neuroendocrine cells [The Uniprot Consortium]
