Product information "Anti-Human TRIM31 Antibody Pair"
Product Description: E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase TRIM31 (TRIM31) is a member of the tripartite motif (TRIM) protein family, functions as an E3 ubiquitin ligase and plays a significant role in various cellular processes, including cell proliferation, inflammation, and tumorigenesis. Characterized by its RING finger, B-box, and coiled-coil domains, TRIM31 is involved in the ubiquitination of target proteins, regulating their stability and function. Notably, TRIM31 has been found to be upregulated in gastric adenocarcinoma, suggesting its potential as a biomarker for early-stage gastric cancer. Despite its overexpression in cancer tissues, TRIM31 can negatively regulate cell growth, indicating a complex role in tumor biology. Additionally, TRIM31 has been implicated in metabolic disorders, as it mitigates liver steatosis and insulin resistance by promoting the degradation of Rhbdf2, thereby improving insulin signaling and reducing inflammation. Protein Function: E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase that acts as a regulator of antiviral immune response and inflammation by mediating ubiquitination of substrates (PubMed:18773414, PubMed:27929086, PubMed:27992402). Acts as a regulator of innate immune defense against viruses by mediating 'Lys-63'-linked ubiquitination of MAVS, promoting MAVS polymerization and formation of three-stranded helical filaments on mitochondria (PubMed:27992402). Acts as a negative regulator of the NLRP3 inflammasome by catalyzing 'Lys-48'-linked ubiquitination of NLRP3, leading to its degradation (PubMed:27929086). Regulator of Src-induced anchorage independent cell growth (By similarity) [The Uniprot Consortium]
