Product information "Anti-Human PAGE1 Antibody Pair"
Product Description: PAGE Family Member 1 (PAGE1), encoded by the PAGE1 gene, is a cancer-testis antigen predominantly expressed in normal testicular germ cells and aberrantly activated in various cancers, including melanoma, hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), and lung cancer. Located on chromosome Xp11.23, PAGE1 belongs to the GAGE/PAGE protein family, which is characterized by germline-specific expression and immunogenic properties. PAGE1 is implicated in immune evasion and apoptosis modulation, potentially promoting tumor survival. In melanoma, PAGE1 overexpression correlates with advanced disease stages and poorer prognosis, suggesting its role in tumor progression. Similarly, in HCC, elevated PAGE1 levels are observed in tumor tissues compared to healthy liver, linking it to oncogenic processes.
