Product information "Anti-Human PAG1 Antibody Pair"
Product Description: Integrin subunit beta 1 (ITGB1) is a vital component of the integrin family, functioning as a transmembrane glycoprotein that forms heterodimers with various alpha subunits, facilitating crucial cellular processes such as adhesion, migration, and signaling. ITGB1 plays a significant role in numerous physiological functions, including embryogenesis and tissue repair, and is implicated in the pathogenesis of several diseases, notably cancers like gallbladder and breast cancer. Dysregulation of ITGB1 has been linked to tumor progression and metastasis, making it a potential prognostic biomarker and therapeutic target. The gene encoding ITGB1 is located on chromosome 10p11.22 and produces multiple isoforms, with the beta1-A isoform being the most extensively studied. Protein Function: Negatively regulates TCR (T-cell antigen receptor)-mediated signaling in T-cells and FCER1 (high affinity immunoglobulin epsilon receptor)-mediated signaling in mast cells. Promotes CSK activation and recruitment to lipid rafts, which results in LCK inhibition. Inhibits immunological synapse formation by preventing dynamic arrangement of lipid raft proteins. May be involved in cell adhesion signaling [The Uniprot Consortium]
