Product Description: LysM domain containing 3 (LYSMD3) is a type II integral membrane protein characterized by an evolutionarily conserved LysM domain, which is a small globular motif (~40 amino acids) involved in binding peptidoglycan and chitin, common components of bacterial and fungal cell walls. This protein localizes primarily to the Golgi apparatus and plasma membrane, playing a role in Golgi structural integrity and organization.
