Product Description: CXCL8, also known as interleukin-8 (IL-8), is a potent neutrophil-attracting and -activating chemokine that plays a crucial role in the inflammatory response. CXCL8 is involved in the recruitment and migration of various immune cells, particularly neutrophils, to sites of inflammation. This can lead to the development of different inflammatory diseases, such as airway, gastrointestinal, neurological, and autoimmune diseases like systemic lupus erythematosus. Elevated levels of CXCL8 have been found in inflamed tissues and the blood circulation in several inflammatory conditions.
