Product Description: Interleukin-4 (IL-4) is a multifunctional cytokine that plays a crucial role in regulating immune responses and inflammation. It is primarily produced by T helper 2 (Th2) cells, mast cells, eosinophils, and basophils. IL-4 has both pro-inflammatory and anti-inflammatory effects, depending on the context. In allergic diseases, IL-4 promotes inflammation by inducing IgE production, enhancing eosinophil recruitment, and stimulating mucus secretion.
