Product Description: Interleukin 2 receptor subunit beta (IL2RB), also known as CD122, is a type I membrane protein that plays a crucial role in the immune system by forming part of the interleukin-2 (IL-2) receptor complex. The protein consists of 220 amino acids, has a molecular weight of approximately 25.5 kDa, and is glycosylated, which contributes to its functional properties. Its expression is primarily found in hematopoietic tissues, highlighting its importance in immune responses.
