Product Description: Interleukin 20 receptor subunit beta (IL20RB) is a single-pass type I membrane protein of the type II cytokine receptor family. It forms heterodimeric receptor complexes with IL-20RA or IL-22RA1, which bind and mediate signaling for IL-19, IL-20, and IL-24 cytokines. IL20RB is expressed in various tissues, including skin, lung, and immune cells. It plays a role in both pro-inflammatory and anti-inflammatory immune responses by activating the JAK-STAT signaling pathway, particularly STAT3. IL20RB is involved in tissue homeostasis, wound healing, and host defense. Dysregulation of IL20RB has been associated with several autoimmune and inflammatory diseases, including psoriasis, rheumatoid arthritis, and inflammatory bowel disease. Additionally, IL20RB expression has been linked to poor prognosis in clear cell renal cell carcinoma and may regulate immune cell infiltration in this cancer type.
