Product information "Anti-Human ENTPD3 Antibody Pair"
Product Description: Ectonucleoside triphosphate diphosphohydrolase 3 (ENTPD3), also known as CD39L3 or NTPDase-3, is an integral membrane protein encoded by the ENTPD3 gene. It belongs to the E-NTPDase family and hydrolyzes extracellular nucleotides, particularly ATP, ADP, UTP, and UDP, with a threefold preference for ATP and UTP over ADP. ENTPD3 contains four apyrase-conserved regions and is activated by divalent metal ions like Ca2+ and Mg2+, playing a critical role in purinergic signaling by regulating extracellular nucleotide levels. It is highly expressed in brain, pancreas, spleen, and prostate tissues, where it modulates physiological processes such as insulin secretion in pancreatic beta-cells. Structurally, ENTPD3 consists of two major domains with a conserved secondary structure topology, forming a substrate-binding pocket. Dysregulation of ENTPD3 has been implicated in diseases, including cancer, where its activity influences tumor immune evasion and therapeutic responses. Protein Function: Has a threefold preference for the hydrolysis of ATP over ADP [The Uniprot Consortium]
