Product Description: E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase DTX3L (DTX3L) is a multi-domain protein that plays a critical role in the ubiquitination process, which regulates protein stability and cellular signaling. DTX3L is characterized by its RING domain, essential for its ligase activity, and interacts with PARP9 to facilitate DNA damage repair and antiviral responses. DTX3L can ubiquitinate single-stranded nucleic acids, suggesting a novel role in regulating nucleic acid metabolism and response to DNA damage. It has been implicated in various cancers, including lymphomas, gliomas, and melanomas, where its overexpression is associated with tumor progression and chemoresistance. DTX3L promotes cell adhesion, proliferation, and migration, contributing to the aggressive behavior of tumors.
