Product information "Anti-Human CD300E Antibody Pair"
Product Description: CD300e molecule (CD300E) is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein belonging to the CD300 family of immune regulatory proteins. It is expressed on the surface of monocytes, dendritic cells, and other myeloid cells. CD300E contains an extracellular immunoglobulin-like domain and associates with the signaling adaptor DAP12, enabling it to function as an activating receptor. Engagement of CD300E promotes cell survival, cytokine production, and upregulation of costimulatory molecules in myeloid cells. Recent studies have implicated CD300E in cancer progression and immune evasion. In colorectal cancer, high CD300E expression on tumor-associated macrophages correlates with an immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment and poor prognosis. CD300E-deficient macrophages exhibit enhanced pro-inflammatory and phagocytic activity. Protein Function: Probably acts as an activating receptor [The Uniprot Consortium]
