Product information "Anti-Human CD134/OX40L Recepter Antibody Pair"
Product Description: Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 4 (TNFRSF4), also known as OX40, is a protein that plays a pivotal role in the immune system, particularly in T cell activation and survival. It is a member of the tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily and is primarily expressed on activated T cells. TNFRSF4 interacts with its ligand, TNFSF4 (OX40L), which enhances T cell proliferation and cytokine production, contributing to the regulation of immune responses. Dysregulation of TNFRSF4 has been associated with various diseases, including Immunodeficiency 16 and Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome, where its altered signaling can lead to impaired immune function and increased susceptibility to infections. Additionally, TNFRSF4 is implicated in autoimmune diseases and cancer, as its expression can promote tumor growth by supporting the survival of tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes. Protein Function: Receptor for TNFSF4/OX40L/GP34. Is a costimulatory molecule implicated in long-term T-cell immunity , (Microbial infection) Acts as a receptor for human herpesvirus 6B/HHV-6B [The Uniprot Consortium]
