Product information "Anti-Human ANXA11 Antibody Pair"
Product Description: Annexin A11 (ANXA11) is a calcium-dependent phospholipid-binding protein belonging to the annexin family, implicated in neurodegenerative diseases such as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). Structurally, ANXA11 contains a conserved calcium-binding C-terminal domain common to all annexins and a putative intrinsically unfolded N-terminal region specific to ANXA11. Mutations in ANXA11 have been linked to ALS. The protein's core domain is formed by four helical repeats and binds to phospholipids in a calcium-dependent manner, influencing membrane properties such as curvature and phase separation. The N-terminal region also interacts with other proteins like ALG-2 and S100A6, suggesting a multifunctional role of ANXA11 in cellular processes. Protein Function: Binds specifically to calcyclin in a calcium-dependent manner (By similarity). Required for midbody formation and completion of the terminal phase of cytokinesis [The Uniprot Consortium]
