Tris-Glycine-SDS TruSep Sample Buffer

NuSep's TruSep Tris-Glycine SDS Sample Buffer is an optimized sample treatment solution for protein analysis. Each 2ml vial contains a ready-to-use buffer formulated with 0.12M Tris, 5% SDS, 0.03% Bromophenol Blue, and 40% glycerol at a pH of 6.8. This sample buffer is designed to aid in protein denaturation and disaggregation, while also imparting a negative charge to linearize proteins for separation by SDS-PAGE. The blue tracking dye allows visualization of electrophoresis progress. To use, warm the vial to room temperature and vortex briefly to dissolve any precipitates. Add an appropriate amount of sample, then heat at 95-100°C for 5 minutes prior to loading the sample onto an SDS-PAGE gel.
