SpeediSort Cell Isolation Magnet

The SpeediSort Cell Isolation Magnet is an aluminum magnetic tube rack designed to process up to 16 cell separation samples simultaneously of different sizes. One side of the magnet accommodates up to eight 5 ml (12 × 75 mm) polystyrene round-bottom tubes (e.g., Corning #352054), while the opposite side holds up to eight 14 ml (17 × 95 mm) polystyrene round-bottom tubes (e.g., Corning #352059). This magnet allows to quickly separate cells bound to magnetic beads and is designed to allow users a near 360° view of their cell samples during separation. Isolating specific cell types from heterogenous populations such as blood, tissues and heterogeneous cell cultures can be time-consuming and laborious and places cells under a great amount of stress. For sensitive populations such as PBMCs (peripheral blood mononuclear cells), a quick and easy isolation method is ideal to preserve cell viability and function. Magnetic cell isolation removes the stress of repeated centrifugation and allows users to perform separations gently and quickly.
