Tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-related apoptosis-inducing ligand (TRAIL/Apo2L) is a recently identified member of the TNF ligand family that selectively induces apoptosis in tumor cells in vitro and in vivo but not in most normal cells. TRAIL is expressed in most normal human cells and tissues, including peripheral blood leukocytes, spleen, lung and prostate. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 5ug/ml, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
