TRAC-1 is a 232aa protein containing an N-terminal RING-type zinc finger domain. It functions as a positive regulator in the T-cell receptor signaling pathway, thus leading to T-cell activation. It mediates ubiquitination and subsequent proteasomal degradation of target proteins. TRAC-1 is expressed in lymphoid tissues, including bone marrow, spleen, thymus as well as in other tissues. It is predominantly expressed in the CD4+ and CD8+ T-cells, suggesting that it is preferentially confined to T-cells. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:500-1:1000, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
