Anti-TASK2 (TWIK-Related Acid Sensitive Potassium Channel, TASK, cTBAK-1, Kcnk3)

This gene encodes one of the members of the superfamily of potassium channel proteins containing two pore-forming P domains. The message for this gene is mainly expressed in the cortical distal tubules and collecting ducts of the kidney. The protein is highly sensitive to external pH and this, in combination with its expression pattern, suggests it may play an important role in renal potassium transport. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:200 Rat kidney membranes , Immunohistochemistry: Rat kidney sections., Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Control Antigen: T1023-55A Preadsorption: 1ug peptide per 1ug antibody. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
