Anti-STAT5 [Arg31-Methyl]

Anti-STAT5 R31/Me1 was affinity purified from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity chromatography. This antibody is specific for STAT5 R31/Me1 and does not reacts with other STATs surrounding aa31. A BLAST analysis was used to suggest cross-reactivity with Human, mouse, and rat. Cross-reactivity with STAT5 from other sources has not been determined. Protein function: Carries out a dual function: signal transduction and activation of transcription. Mediates cellular responses to the cytokine KITLG/SCF and other growth factors. Mediates cellular responses to ERBB4. May mediate cellular responses to activated FGFR1, FGFR2, FGFR3 and FGFR4. Binds to the GAS element and activates PRL-induced transcription. Regulates the expression of milk proteins during lactation. [The UniProt Consortium]
